About Butterfly Release
Owned and operated by Michigan Native Butterfly Farm, Butterfly Release is a private farm located in Southeast Michigan and is home to more than 50 indigenous butterfly species, including those we offer for special occasion releases.
Our most popular butterflies for release are Monarchs and Painted Ladies. We also raise Eastern Black Swallowtails, Giant Swallowtails, American Painted Ladies, Red Admirals, and Mourning Cloaks for release throughout the United States. Contact us for more information.
Our sister company, Butterfly Gardens to Go, specializes in a wide variety of host plants, numerous milkweed species and perennial flowers for nectar that can be used to create supportive butterfly habitats for the life cycle of each generation. We are committed to conservation through education and community involvement.
